Reminders & Holiday Schedule

  • Please bring your trash cart out by 7:00 am on your service day or the night before. We provide each household one trash cart—additional carts are available upon request. Make sure that your cart does not contain the following:
  • Paint
  • Oil
  • Batteries
  • Tires
  • Hazardous Waste
  • Dead Animals
  • Dirt
  • Rock
  • If your scheduled trash pick-up falls on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day; trash collection will be moved a day. (i.e. Thursday Holiday customers move to Friday, Friday customers move to Saturday.)

We were established by Joe Bob Powell because of a great idea from a family friend. Since then, Powell Disposal has been doing business for more than two decades now.

When we started, we were known in the local area as the Garbage Picker. After changing our name to Powell Disposal, we continue to be a family-owned company that provides the same hometown service our clients are used to getting.
